Payment

Payment is accepted by credit/debit card including Visa, Mastercard and American Express; Paypal, Google Pay and Apple Pay.

We do not store credit/debit card details.

Payment must be made at the time of order. We do not accept cheques or money orders.

Orders

We endeavour to ship all in stock items within 1 - 2 working days. During peak seasons this may be extended to 3 working days.

We maintain strict stock control, but there may be circumstances when the product you ordered is no longer available.

We never substitute items.

We will contact you if your chosen item is not available. If we do not hear back from you, we will refund you the effected item(s).

All orders are packed specific to each customer's order. Please check your package contents thoroughly, including cello packs, before contacting us about suspected discrepancies. Products (particularly gift wrap sheets) may be packed together and/or across multiple cello packs.

All orders are inspected twice during the picking and packing process to ensure orders are correct.

Delivery

Our shipping prices include a small contribution towards the cost of packaging.

Once an order has been shipped, delivery can be expected to arrive within 1 to 7 working days depending on the delivery service chosen.

If your order is returned to us as undeliverable due to an error in the address provided by you or has not been collected from the sorting office after a delivery attempt, we will notify you by email. We can arrange redelivery of your order, if requested. Please note a re-shipping charge of £4 is payable if you wish to arrange redelivery.

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the appropriate delivery service is selected, if a customer wishes to receive their order before a specific date then we would always recommend using a Tracked delivery service.

Untracked delivery services (1st and 2nd class) are not guaranteed and can take up to 14 working days for delivery particularly during busy seasons.

Claims for non-receipt will only be accepted after the following time has elapsed:

1st and 2nd class: 14 working days after shipping.

Tracked 48: 9 working days after shipping.

Tracked 24: 8 working days after shipping.

Special Delivery: 6 working days after shipping.

Evri: 7 working days after shipping.

Tracked services will be chased up with the relevant carrier, in case the order has become stuck in the system. Please allow 72 hours for this, after which if your tracked order has not arrived a full refund will be given.

Claims for untracked services will only be accepted after 14 working days have passed since shipping. Claims for untracked orders not received made via chargeback or Paypal claim before 14 working days combined with a refusal to wait or return the goods will be considered as an attempt to gain goods by deception and a fraud report will be filed with Action Fraud and a crime reference number obtained.

Claims for non-delivery will only be accepted within 40 calendar days of the date of posting. Any claims made after 40 days will not be accepted and no refund/replacement will be given. Customers are advised to make any such claim as soon as possible after the delivery deadline we have provided you during your initial enquiry.

We do our best to make sure orders are shipped quickly. Unreasonable behaviour from customers and attempts to extort a refund using threats or intimidation or filing false claims will not be tolerated, and further orders will be refused.

The Consumer Contracts Regulations (2013), which replaced the Distance Selling Regulations (2000), states that traders must supply the goods within 30 days of purchase, our terms exceed this as we aim to supply goods within 14 working days.

Cancellations, Exchanges, Refunds and Returns

You have the right to cancel your order at any time within 14 calender days.

If you wish to cancel before your order is shipped, simply email us info@thecardbarn.co.uk and we will cancel your order and refund you in full.

If you wish to cancel after your order has been shipped, please email us info@thecardbarn.co.uk to arrange a return. Returns are accepted if notified within 14 calendar days of receipt and returned within 14 calendar days of the date the return was requested. Returns made outside of 28 calender days of receipt will not be eligible for a refund and no refund will be given.

Items must be returned in the original sealed (where appropriate) packaging in an unused condition, unless faulty.

Upon receipt a full refund for the cost of the order will be given, no later than 7 calendar days after receipt of returned order. Please note: if part of an order is returned that was subject to a discount or offer, you will receive a refund for the item less the pro-rata discount that was applied at the time of the order.

Customers are responsible for all return costs.

Please keep any proof of postage/receipt, and advice that all returns are sent using a trackable method (such as Signed For) as we are not responsible for and cannot refund untracked returned items which are lost in transit.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Special Offer/Discount/Multibuy Terms and Conditions

Your details will be shared with Royal Mail, or an alternative courier service appropriate to the delivery time frame you have selected if Royal Mail delivery is not available, for the purpose of delivering your order to you. We also share your details with Trustpilot, who may contact you with an invitation to leave a review. Google Customer Reviews is an opt-in service, and you must opt-in during the ordering process for your details to be passed to them. We may use your details to send you information about events we attend or promotional offers. You may unsubscribe at any time.

By using our site you agree to the use of Cookies. We use traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used. This helps us analyse data about web page traffic and improve our website in order to tailor it to customer needs. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes and then the data is removed from the system.
